Traffic — The Free Methods That Still Work

By Amaury · Affiliate marketing

"Free traffic" has a bad reputation because most of it doesn't work. But a few methods still do — ranked here by honest speed, not guru hype.

Daily lead systems (fastest). ~100 fresh leads a day for about $1/day, usually with a built-in mailer. Not technically free, but the closest thing to it — and the only method on this list that works on day one with no audience and no skills.

Short-form video (fast). 30–60 seconds, one tip per video, posted daily on ONE platform for 90 days. The algorithm rewards consistency over production quality at the start. Your metric is profile clicks, not views — views are vanity, clicks are business.

Community value (medium). One thoughtful answer per day in a Reddit community, Facebook group, or niche forum. Link to your lead magnet where genuinely helpful — never the raw offer. The people who click through are pre-qualified and unusually loyal.

SEO blogging (slow, then permanent). One article per week answering one specific question. Month one: crickets. Month six: traffic while you sleep. Start now even when it feels pointless — compound interest applies to content too.

What stopped working: mass guest-post spam, link exchanges, "viral" giveaways that attract freebie-seekers, and posting the same content to five platforms (depth beats breadth — pick one and go deep).

The rule for all of it: one method, 90 days, daily. Beginners fail by doing five methods badly instead of one method consistently. Free traffic rewards patience the way paid traffic rewards budgets.
