From First Commission to Full-Time — The Realistic Path

Nobody goes from zero to full-time income in 90 days — and anyone selling that timeline is selling, not teaching. But the path from first commission to full-time IS real, and it's walkable. Here's the honest map.

Phase 1: Proof (months 1–3). One offer, one email a day, first commissions landing. Goal: prove the machine works and build the habit. Income: inconsistent, small — and that's fine. You're building skill, not salary.

Phase 2: Stability (months 4–6). Same machine, better numbers. You've found your top email styles, your list is warming, recurring commissions start stacking. Goal: $500–$1,000/month baseline. This is where most people either commit or drift — the novelty's gone, and only the business-minded remain.

Phase 3: Leverage (months 7–12). Add a second offer. Create your first own product (even a $17 guide — 100% margins change the math). Consider a second traffic method. Goal: $2,000–$5,000/month. At this point the business has optionality — and optionality is the real goal.

Phase 4: Full-time (year 2+). Multiple offers, own products, a list in the tens of thousands, systems handling the routine. The daily email continues — it's still the engine — but now it's 10 minutes maintaining a machine instead of 10 minutes hoping.

The truths nobody markets: it takes 12–24 months, not 90 days. You'll want to quit at month 4 (everyone does). Recurring revenue is what makes it sustainable — chase it deliberately. And the skill compounds across everything: email, offers, audiences — learn it once, use it forever.

Start phase 1 tomorrow. The path is long but it's marked — and almost nobody walks it, which is exactly why it works.
